SYNOPSIS
Torben and his mother Gabriele have a relationship that promises both security and care. When Gabriele is forced to move into a nursing home one day, Torben’s world suddenly begins to collapse. The nearby, small but deep forest lake seems to have a life of its own from now on, calls Gabriele with seductive tones and attacks Torben one night.
Obsessed with understanding the background of the sinister goings on, Torben begins intensive research and realizes that he is not powerless.
