SYNOPSIS
For the private German TV channel ProSieben, journalist Thilo Mischke has researched right-wing networks in around 18 months since 2019 and met supporters of various right-wing populist groups and right-wing extremist groups. On the basis of investigative research and interviews with people in the scene, he is on the trail of the question of whether the free-democratic basic order of the Federal Republic of Germany is in danger.
The documentary shows which ways and means are contrived to recruit followers and how right-wing extremists and far right extremist groups are interwoven, where they differ and where there are no boundaries between them. Among other things, the film crew managed to make secret recordings of conversations that shook the whole country because of their content.
